Packhouse Operatives required in Aylesham, Kent.
We require additional Warehouse Operatives / Packhouse Operatives in Aylesham for a factory and warehousing site. Packing and warehouse shifts will be available full-time for a few months in order to cover their busiest period, with the most successful packing and warehouse staff being kept on long-term or permanent. A variety of shift patterns are available, which can include part time as well as full time shifts.
About this Warehouse and Packhouse job in Aylesham:
- Repetitive manual handling of products off of the production line.
- Loading products on to pallets and securing them for transport.
- Working at pace to keep up with production speed.
- Movement of stock around the warehouse.
- Accurate allocation of stock based on product size and type.
Packhouse shift patterns:
- Monday to Friday – 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00 or 22:00-06:00.
- Weekends Saturday and Sunday – 06:00 to 18:00 or 18:00pm to 06:00am

About you, the ideal warehouse / packhouse operative:
- Previous packing or warehouse experience preferred.
- Able to keep up with the physical demand of this fast-paced packing role.
- Local or with own transport recommended due to shift times and location.
What’s in it for you?
- £9.50 per hour Monday to Friday over the 3 shifts
- £16.62 per hour Saturday and Sunday over the 2 shifts
- 28 days annual leave FTE on an accrual basis, including bank holidays.
- Wage increase will be given after 8 week continuous work.
- Possible Temp to Perm opportunities available after 8 weeks for the right candidates
