Farm Workers needed in Cliffsend, near Ramsgate in Kent.

A local farm is now ready to start harvesting their crops, thanks to the start of better weather. They are looking for Farm Workers to harvest, sort and pack their crops from April until June/July, depending on crop growth.

Farm Workers will be required on both the farm itself, and the on-site packhouse.

About this Seasonal Farm Worker job in Cliffsend, Thanet:

Harvesting crops from ground level using hand tools.
Sorting and packing crops within the packhouse.
Repetitive manual handling.
Working outside in all weathers.

Seasonal Farm Worker shift patterns:

Some flexible working is available.
Full-time and part-time opportunities.
Usually working from 7/8am until 4pm, approx. over time available
Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays.
Crops can only be picked when they’re ready, and need picking within a particular time of being ready, so times are often led by the crop.

About you, the ideal Season Farm Worker:

Comfortable with repetitive manual handling, able to use safe lifting and bending techniques.
Energetic and enjoy being outside.
Enjoy repetitive work, able to stay focused on task and maintain productivity.
Own transport is recommended due to the location of the placement

£10.42 hour.
An overtime rate of £15.63/hour.
